The Golfers Club members insurance includes new for old cover as standard when replacing equipment as a result of theft, loss or damage regardless of age or condition up to the value of the equipment level you have chosen, providing the items were purchased new at the time and proof of purchase is provided.

We don’t impose any age limit on your equipment, so if you are unfortunate enough to have to replace your equipment you have the peace of mind that it won’t have devalued over time. We will replace your lost, stolen or damaged equipment with a direct replacement or if that model is no longer available, a comparable replacement.

Territorial Limits The territory in which the insurance is valid. Our worldwide insurance is optional for Bronze, Silver or Gold policies and is available for just £10 for 12 months cover. Platinum cover provides worldwide insurance as standard. United Kingdom

Golf Equipment We will cover your Clubs, Balls, Bags, Trolleys, Clothing, GPC Devices, GPS Watch and Accessories (excluding Buggies which can be provided as an add on), specifically designed and purchased for playing Golf. Golf Equipment extends to include Baggage, Personal Possessions and Trophies up to the limit defined in your insurance schedule. An excess of £50 applies to Golf Equipment, but this can be waived if the “Excess Waiver” option is selected. Golf Buggy equipment excess is £150 and will remain even if the “Excess Waiver” option is selected. New for Old for Life You’ll receive as standard ‘New For Old’ cover for the life of your equipment so in the event of a claim you would receive new equipment at your original purchase price, regardless of age. Subject to satisfactory proof of purchase. 24 Hour Cover Your equipment is protected from securely locked building, garage or compound and motor vehicle 24 hours a day providing there is evidence of forcible and violent entry to the locked building, garage or compound. £1,000

Personal Liability A wayward shot could cost you a fortune. Should your shot seriously damage property or injure another person your legal position is protected. No policy excess applies. £5 million £5 million £5 million £5 million
Personal Accident Includes Accidental Death, Permanent Disablement, Loss of Limbs and Sight up to £50,000. Plus there is cover in place should you require Emergency Dental Treatment or you are hospitilised. No policy excess applies.

Please note the following age restrictions:

• If you are under 18, the death benefit is reduced to £1,000

• If you are over 80, the benefits are reduced to £5,000 and there is no cover for permanent total disablement

  • There is no single article limit for golf equipment claims.
  • Injury to a third party or damage to property is a golfer’s biggest financial risk. In today’s litigious society we think £5million Personal Liability should be a minimum requirement.
  • Play golf abroad? Worldwide cover is available as standard on a Platinum Policy or a £10 worldwide upgrade option is available on our Bronze, Silver or Gold policies. So you don’t have to have worldwide cover if you don’t want.
  • If your equipment is lost or stolen (a common occurrence when travelling) you can hire equipment and claim for it. Our Personal Claims service will get you back on the course quickly.
  • Personal accidents, such as being hit in the mouth, are more frequent than you might think, so we provide cover up to £50,000 across all policies.
  • Personal injury can result in your club membership going unused, so we provide club subscription reimbursement up to £1000 to protect against this.
  • If you’re lucky enough to get a hole-in-one, then celebrate because we’ll pick up the tab.
  • Most insurance has an excess but ours is just £50 for Golf Equipment and Dental Treatment and this can be waived by paying only £7 per year.
  • Liability claims when using your buggy covered as standard and upgrades are available if you own your own buggy and need cover for theft and damage.
